ADLEFY TECHNOLOGY LLC – REFUND POLICY

Our refund terms are aligned with Georgian consumer law and EU digital content regulations, ensuring clarity and fairness for all users.

1. General Refund Principles
This Refund Policy governs all payments made for services provided by ADLEFY TECHNOLOGY LLC ("Company") through
Adlefy.com, including but not limited to:

·       Subscription-based AI services (monthly/annual plans)

·       One-time purchases (e.g., AI tool credits, digital downloads)

·       Top-up balances (prepaid usage credits)

Refund eligibility is determined in accordance with:

·       The Law of Georgia on Consumer Rights Protection (No. 2210, 2014)

·       The Law of Georgia on Electronic Commerce (No. 2092, 2018)

·       EU Digital Content Directive (2019/770) where applicable

2. Merchant of Record Refund Processing
2.1 For services where UPLEF FZ-LLC acts as Merchant of Record (MoR), all refund requests are subject to approval and processing by UPLEF FZ-LLC.
2.2 ADLEFY TECHNOLOGY LLC facilitates the refund process with the Merchant of Record but is not contractually responsible for refund issuance.
2.3 The MoR handles all payment reversals, chargebacks, and transaction disputes directly.

3. Non-Refundable Services

·       Instant-access digital services (e.g., AI-generated reports, downloadable software)

·       Top-up credits once applied to your account

·       Subscription fees for periods already consumed

·       Custom AI development services (if work has commenced per a signed Statement of Work)

Exception: Refunds may be issued if the service is materially defective and cannot be rectified within 14 days of written notice.

4. Subscription Refunds
4.1 Auto-Renewal Cancellation
Users may cancel recurring subscriptions at any time via the account dashboard. To avoid renewal charges, cancellation must occur ≥7 days before the next billing cycle. No refunds for partial subscription periods after cancellation.

4.2 Cooling-Off Period
Georgian consumers have 14 days to request a refund for subscriptions if no service usage has occurred. Once the AI tools are accessed (e.g., API calls, logins), the cooling-off period is void.

4.3 Technical Failure
If the service is unavailable for ≥72 consecutive hours due to Company-side errors, users may request a pro-rated refund for the affected period.

5. Top-Up Balances & Prepaid Credits
5.1 No Cash Refunds
Unused top-up credits expire after 12 months of inactivity. Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5.2 Exceptions
Refunds for unused credits may be issued only if the Company discontinues the service permanently. Fraudulent top-up transactions (e.g., stolen payment methods) will be reversed.

6. AI-Specific Regulations
6.1 Output Accuracy
AI-generated content is provided "as is." No refunds for perceived inaccuracies unless proven to violate Georgian consumer guarantees. Users are responsible for verifying outputs for legal/compliance purposes.

6.2 Prohibited Use
Refunds will be denied if the AI tools are used for:

·       Illegal activities (e.g., fraud, deepfakes violating Georgian law)

·       Automated scraping or bulk data extraction without authorization

·       Generating harmful/hateful content (per the Law of Georgia on Freedom of Speech, No. 4321)

7. Refund Request Process
7.1 Submission
Requests must be emailed to [email protected] within 7 days of the transaction date. Include:

·       Transaction ID

·       Reason for refund (with evidence if claiming defects)

7.2 Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed by the Merchant of Record within 15 business days to the original payment method. Bank fees or currency conversion losses are borne by the user.

8. Dispute Resolution
8.1 Negotiation
The Company will respond to refund requests within 5 business days.

8.2 Escalation
Unresolved disputes may be filed with the Georgian National Competition Agency.

9. Policy Updates
Changes to this policy require 30 days' notice via email or website announcements. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.
